“If you ask your children: “Who wants to cook?” Most of them might answer “Yes”. For children cooking is a part of exploration, they are able to mix and touch the ingredients with their senses. This event is not only fun, but it’s also full of exploration that gives opportunities for children to experience changes in an object (cooking ingredients) and recognize sequence by following the cooking method. Cooking with children is also a learning opportunity for children to develop their reading and comprehension skills, as adults and children read and discuss recipes together.
